Future Plans

Our plan now is to steer a more holistic development for the children whose paths we’ve crossed. There is vast potential to be tapped, hopefully with the assistance and collaborations of other NGOs and individuals who are keen to be included in our redevelopment efforts. We hope to be part of a dynamic network where relief aid can be managed seamlessly across different organisations, enabling a wider catchment area and benefitting more people every time a disaster strikes.

Next Project – Cluster Homes

The next step is to build affordable, permanent housing projects on the victim’s land as a means to provide them with a possible source of income.
Homes are single family style homes 3 rooms 2 bath with eco friendly features at a competitive cost built in a cluster to create a community setting, in close proximity to each other so that resources may be shared and saved for low ecological footprint. In addition to the communal economy, consensus decision-making, non-hierarchical structure and ecological living to be important core principles.

KL Exposure Trip

We hosted 30 kids with 17 parents to the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair. A kind sponsor provided transport to and from Kelantan – Kuala Lumpur with accommodations at a resort in Janda Baik! Other sponsors provided meals, stationery and souvenirs. The kids had fun at the book fair and enjoyed documenting their eco experience at the resort.

Books For Schools

While doing follow ups on the conditions of the effected areas, we also sent books to 3 school libraries that we decided to adopt and to equip them with quality reading materials that can change the mindset of the students. Kindly donated by friends and family and clients from the book industry truckful load of mostly eco and sustainable related books well received.
